Trey,
Thanks for checking it out. Still have a lot of work to go but it is coming around. Used the hole punch to make the Radiator cover and a cover for around the hood latch. The over flow tank cover just sticks through it. Picture is from my phone so not real good. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps11a69b5e.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psa6bc48a1.jpg Carried the same holes into the trunk with the battery stand that I built for the center of the trunk. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...pscc423def.jpg More up dates soon, Thanks for checking it out. Ed the pictures have been great up until today's post. Looks like you've been hanging out with Kenny Davis. Are you sure he's not taking the pictures for you.

Marty, Hey had Kenny taking those with his dirty lens cell phone...
Glad you guys like the spoiler. Wiring going on and installing the RideTech roll cage. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psabe144ed.jpg All the AC lines are run through the inner fender. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psf58860b7.jpg Here is a better shot of the enegine and the cover with the holes over the radiator. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9c0bd6c3.jpg Got the DSE wiper kit installed also. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5536b8ba.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...pseee47031.jpg Vintage Air AC installed, added two speakers to the center of the dash and have most of the wiring done. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psb5a8aced.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psece037bd.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psd7fb88a6.jpg Now the Greening Auto Dash and the interior... Ed  |
Greening Dash
Here is the Greening dash getting fitted. the dash section for the gauges was custom made for the Classic Instruments Gauges.

The stock under dash trim goes on the bottom and requires a little work to make this all fit and look good. Now it can be painted matte black to match the interior. Almost time to biutton this up and start driving it... Goodguy Ed |
Nice progress, its going to look good.

Nice job Ed can't wait to see this one finished up!

I really like the Greening Dash a bunch. Do you happen to have pictures of how you mounted it.

Marty,
There is a little work involved but when you get it all in it looks really good. There is places for studs to go through the stock dash metal but you need to add to this metal to make it all fit really good. Getting the stock underdash parts to fit involved adding some aluminum to them to fill in the area between the new dash and the stock plastics. I would suggest that you do it before paint and glass for sure. I did this with the glass in and made more work for me. Wayne and Rick, glad you like the project and how it is going. I am really tring to have it at the event in June but not sure if it will be done. I have it over at Cotati Speed Shop right now getting the last items done. Zane is painting the dash and finishing up some wiring and interior items. Hope to be driving it in the AutoCross...We will see. Goodguy Ed |
Dash looks nice Ed

Hey Jonathan, glad you like it. Now we have to get the Classic Instrument guages all in and working. I think we are going to just matte black the fiberglass and the aluminum may get a textured matte black.
I will get some finished pictures as soon as I get it back from Zane. We missed the Goodguys event this past weekend as the interior guy was behind and did not get it done in time..no biggie as there are plenty more to show this off at and drive the AutoCross. Goodguy Ed |
