This is going to be a great track car from a performance and conversation standpoint!

Thanks for that info Pappy, I thought that the a-arms didn't look like a Camaro. Great idea using the Vette IRS suspension and an inner third member from something else, as the Vette is an integrated transmission and 3rd member.

Did you consider using a quick change 3rd member? I've wondered how hard it would be to use this kind of set up instead of an OEM third member.

Like one of these?

I also love the fact he was kicked out of the Jaguar club. That is hilarious.

Me too, could we get this thread on their club site somehow:lol:

I don't think that you need to try very hard.

Ping Robert who is building the Volvo 1800 and the Amazon. He has his two builds posted on Volvo forums, even some in Europe, where his efforts are trashed.

Just sit back and watch, this build will make it to Jaguar forums and be trashed.

A couple of progress photos. The 200 mph GPS speedometer is pretty cool -- lots of functions like 0-60 timing and recall.

Looking good, Pappy!

Man that's going to be a fun car! Nice work.

Any more pictures/info on the Citroen? I've always wondered about those odd lil sedans, with a bit of work they could look really good.

That is also my brother's (Robert). He is putting a stage 3 motor out of a Cobalt SS (supercharged) with an automatic, power windows, and air. Should be pretty cool. We found another Citreon in a wrecking yard in the Mohave desert with a perfect grill and hood -- the only thing the other Citreon was missing. I think I've told this story before, but we found the Citreon when we saw it in a B-grade (or worse) car movie (Duece of Spades) and we tracked it down on Google earth. Here's a couple of pictures of both cars.

Odd lookin cars for sure, it'll be interesting to see what he does with it.

On the Jag, is the steering wheel/column stock? I like the look of the wheel and bell it's connected to, besides the quick release, is it factory Jag?
