What a great build...the fabrication on some of these projects must take quite a while to plan out.Really great work, looking forward to seeing the finished ride

We got the car off the table and started fab in the chin spoiler as well as finished the front bumper! The bumper is now 1 3/4" narrower, the ends are completely different, they fit perfectly flush with the fender and also carry the body line to match, and the center has been peaked (shaving front license plate area).

We also made a part that goes across, under the grill to divide the bumper and grill..http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1661.jpg

Heres a pic showing the splittler that closes out the front under body. It also ties into the front alum wheel tubs.

The wheels are 18x9 front and 19x10 rear. They're our mockup wheels (the center rim isn't welded, so we can set them up for different cars...)

Thanks,
Jared

Heres some more progress pics!

We put the fuel filler in the trunk jambhttp://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1818.jpg
http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1820.jpg

At this point 90% of the fab work was done... We disassembled the body to have it blasted again, before we start bodyworkhttp://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1849.jpg
http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1855.jpg

We started bodywork in the engine bay, It was nice to have it on the rotisserie for thishttp://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1875.jpg

We used a bed liner on all the floors, top and bottom.http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1878.jpg
http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1877.jpg

The frame is smooth satin black.http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1895.jpg

Some subtle mods to the dash include moving it back towards the driver 3".
http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1997.jpg
http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/IMG_1999.jpg

Awesome work. I love the fuel filler idea!

Same here great idea on the gas fill. I like that the frame is different from the floor finish. Really nice job!

Evan Iroc-Z 10-02-2014 07:37 AM

I third the filler idea! That is fantastic!
