Thanks guys, I'm stoked but it's definitely been stressful being my own contractor and trying to stay within budget:drowninga: Can't wait to get finished and start back into cars.

Just out of curiosity (I know nothing about building homes), could you have run a shorter beam spanning the other way to hold up the larger beam to keep an open floor plan?

Hi Jose, the other way widths are 30' and 44' deep. W/O spending a ton more money, this was the easiest way.
