69 Camero

I used to run one up front years ago with just rubber hoses
and clamps with no issues... Then when I put my new engine
in I mounted one in the same location with An fittings but -14 lines
so I could get the flow... problem was sometimes when the engine
flexed in torque it would loosen the fittings.. again it had very large
lines but make sure the torque of the motor will not twist on the fittings

Nice build.. love all the little details

Good to know! Thanks Bob.

Might consider safety wire then or securing the hose to the frame before it gets to the filter head. That way, the hose takes the flex and not the fitting at the filter head.

Good location for the filter IMO

Thanks Trey.
I think I'm going to commit to that location and cut my inner fender. When I start plumbing the system I'll see what options there is for the hoses.

Btw looks like you've done a ton of work on your car too, its awesome. I cant wait to be driving mine! These cars are hard to build on a budget so mine might be a while longer. This site has ruined me lol.

Put a few hours in the garage this weekend and finished mocking up the remote oil filter. I made a close out panel so it wasn't visible from the front wheel well. Once I get the front end alignment finished I'll install some mounting hardware for the closest panel.
