For a '67 Firebird, I would of took the $45k and ran.

Yea, Johnny was in Chicago to shoot the Super Chevy drag racing. We knew of this car and told the guy that we would love to shoot it. He said great and that he would come to the event. He bailed at the last moment after Johnny was already in Chicago. Johnny had to find another car.

Hell, what's the big deal about doing a pass or two.. you don't have to max-effort it.. As Steemin, it's no big deal.

Our readers want drivable cars not one's that can even handle a pass or two. -- I don't know the whole deal since it was a Johnny thing, but I think the main problem was that he said "ok" then backed out.. that ticks you off when you travel thousands of miles for a shoot..

I have a 3" cowl hood instead of the killer ram air hood on my car, but on second gens carburetor clearance is even worse. The flat hoods don't give you any clearance whatsoever

Yep, you big hoods because you HAVE TO.. on Penny when I got her the hood was needed for carb clearnace.. it would have been lame to run it on the LS2.

Reminds me of the guys with the mustang 5.0's with the triple stacker dual scoop ram air cowl hoods, with a stock motor under it L-A-M-E lol
