I'd bet the car was driven more often and agressive then any other SMOY winner EVER! (DSE 'Twister' is right up there)
That being said, I was still very much looking forward to seeing it at a 0-200-0, Maxton, etc. Oh well, :( . |
Kudos to Bob. He had the cash and was willing to spend it on generating some new design ideas in our field. Anyone with deep pockets can go out and buy a Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, etc. So what. To take the time, money, stress and put it into an unproven project is awesome.
Sorry that Jody and Brian are jealous, but I would rather see more people trying to push the envelope with AMERICAN muscle than subsidizing the Italian, etc. economy. Innovation is what drives our economy. |

Should we ban him, or give him a chance to explain? |
:_paranoid :P
Damn Jody, your one jealous man  BTW I'm not jealous, just poking some fun. The cuda is a killer car and he did drive the piss out of it. BUT I was told all sorts of things at Sema last year of how they had a parachute/racing wheels/seats and a bunch of other stuff to get it ready for some serious competition. I know everything doesn't always pan out. No big deal though, its his car and he gets to do whatever he wants with it  |

It did the complete power tour, many air ride events. Drove to a couple good guy's show. More then it's share of 160mph blast in Manteno and even on the highway. BTW - I am not dissing the Cuda in a sense of the word as it's truly and awesome car. I've spent hours looking at the car and it's pictures. It represents the next step forward in car building and design. On a side note if Dave ever finishes the TT v10, viper drivetrain Charger at his shop i guaranty people will be as shocked as they were when the Johnson Cuda showed up on the scene. |
