i would be interested to see if you have any numbers on your intake. With those runners it looks like it should be a monster up top, the only bad thing about the intake is if you are going to be pushing alot of air , with the TB up front it tends to force more air into the rear cyls.
what turbos are you going with and what was the deciding factor in you going for twins? Who is building the system for you incase i missed it in this or another thread.
once again very nice build

I will respectfully disagree on the airflow deal. Under pressure that just can't happen. At least that's what a couple of EFI engineers have told me (both have a strong thermodynamics background). Say it's a common misconception. With the manifold under pressure the pressure is the same at any port, the rears would not have more.

I'm running twin ball bearing liquid cooled T67's from Precision. The decision for twins was mostly lag time; I know a big single can make huge power, but it comes at a price. I am not going to run a super loose converter so twins was the direction I was going. The headers are from Nelson Racing, and the rest of the plumbing will be done here.

Not really sharing that much yet, but it's an old school grandma car type of color. :wow:

Jody,
Are you using a automatic? If so, what kind of automatic(4l80e, th400,or 4l60e), and what kind of torque converter are you going to run.

The headers look really nice :faint:

It's a 4L80E with a Shrifter. I would have to guess on the converter, came with the car. Pretty mild, maybe 2800 stall or so, and it's a lockup.

I have "the scoop" on the car and the direction it's headed in-- it will be a LOT of fun. :unibrow:

And no, I won't divulge the info. I can't wait to see the reaction to the finished product and I don't want that spoiled... and I'm sure neither does Jody.

Troy, it was nice meeting you and watching you guys pilot that "streetcar" around Thunderhill.

Good meeting you too!

That Mustang meets the definition of streetcar in that it has seen duty on public roads numerous times... law enforcement just wasn't there to tell us otherwise. They sometimes show up at the shop after street "test sessions" though. :P
