The HP hoses and extra hardware (i took both sets of available hardware kits to make sure i had the good ones/ for the right spindles) filled up the rest of the bill.

Give Kevin MacKenzie a call about the brackets, (and anyone else that is interested for that matter.) I'm not sure on the price because mine was the first set. After building mine he has everything he needs to duplicate so they should be fairly reasonable. Depending on what rearend you have, he might have to modify them a little to make them mount on the housing. I have a 12 bolt housing but it has the large ford bearing ends. His number is (586)336-9833.

I am running a cpp master with the internal prop valve and hydroboost. Had hydroboost on my last car, works great (almost to good)Don't let someone else drive your car with hydroboost without telling them it's got it or you'll end up eating your dash! no joke. :eek:

Hey Leadfoot, so when you get rotors zinc washed, how does that work? does it impregnate the steel so that as the rotors wear the new metal is still rust inhibited, or is it just a surface coating that needs to be reapplied periodically? And as for pics of my project....I have a few from this summer....things were a little rushed, so i didn't get too many, but here they are. I'm really interested in hydroboost. I like how it looks too. Did you use a special power steering pump (higher volume)? or a std? I read you might want to go HV to see full performance, again, i know squat 'bout those systems.

I spoke with the guy today (His name is Pierre/Pete) he actually is an ingineer so it was cool talking to him but he lost me from time to time with a few 20 letter words :willy: He was interesting to listen. He explained that the zinc is only actually a finish, it will dissapear the instant brakes will be applied (only where the pads rub) but that the rest (vents, center etc) will stay like new for a long time. So it sounds interesting. He told me the name of the company that does this and they are on my way a few times a week so i'll call and go see, because they offer 3 colours he told me. The price is a minimum 70$ charge so i could get some more parts to be done depending on what is their max parts allowed for the said 70$

They do black...it might be cool (others are yello and clear) I asked about the kinda silver we usually see and he said that thats the regular color...That was not too clear. I'll go and see.

We got a major ice storm today/tonight, half of the province is out of electricity (not us!) and i had a few buildings that we're out of it so it was a pretty busy day...(I manage/ build elderly houses for/ with my Dad, HEAT was the main concern here) Everything is fine now...But the shop is closed :-(

Thanks Lead. That was something I was wondering. How do guys keep their rotors so clean and rust free, because that never looks good......especially behind some killer wheels. My car is in storage for the winter, so I won't be able to get at it until the spring. But if it's a zinc wash at a local chrome pit then I'll have no trouble doing that. As for plans for the car, it'll be running a mildly built 440 with a stock 4 speed. I want the whole car dropped by an inch all around....just a nice little clean up, running 17 inch Intro Pentias with black spokes. I have a nice big brake kit for it as well. I want something that looks like a stock Charger R/T that's got big brakes and wheels, but you have to look closer to see the slight drop, shaved antenna, suspension upgrades, etc. I don't want to hijack your thread, so I can PM you with more details if you like. It's my first project like this so I tend to be long winded. It's a curse. :D
