Still in the game, just flying under the radar in stealth mode, but things are heating up as you can see.:unibrow:

Glad to see you guys are still there as well as Mr Angry. Hopefully a muscle car will win. About time the Lambo guys went home. I couldn't believe that he didn't run the challenge just because he didn't want to. Why did he sign up for the show?

Thanks! I spoke to Jeff about his decision, he was upset about having to pass on the challenge but he said "when am I going to decide its enough, when I have no car left?" He just wanted to cut his losses, the car was a real disaster by the time he got elminated, he gave it his all, but abused the car a little too much. Even if you dont count the value of his car, he suffered the most damages. My brother and I may have been in the same boat had I not kept reminding him not to go around show-boating and risk breaking the car. We had swapped in a new rear the morning before the Hurst was shipped out to Montana to begin the rally, the reason: the rear that was in there exploded. So we tried to be very gentle...as gentle as you can be with 550hp + 150hp shot of laughing gas. :) Rich |
I've been watching the show and really enjoy it. Your brothers car is sweeeet. I'm hoping one of the muscles win it.:woot:

Rich,
What nitrous system are you guys using? had to ask. |

We actually tried to obtain an NX plate because the NOS system we had was a universal kit and did not come with so we drove all over NY trying to find one on that last day of our build up. We tried to get one of the NX Pro-power plates or a Nitrous Express annular discharge plate but we learned that they did not make one for the blueprinted Rochester that my brother VERY foolishly installed back into the car instead of the Carburetor Shop Holley racing carb that had been dyno tuned to that engine :( One of our biggest follies. Finally #1!!! :woot: |
Congrats on the number 1. Too bad for the BMW guy losing his uncle. Not the way you want someone to leave.

[QUOTE=Rich Team11 H/O]This thing was installed literally minutes before the car was taken to Montana and in fact I had to finish the electrical once we got there.
QUOTE] Isn't that always the case? You never have enough time to get a car finished for things like this. Congrats on the #1 slot! B |
Great speech on how New Yorkers deal with people. Loved it.
