The car ran awesome we need to run the secondary pump pick up further back in the tank it was picking up some air in the tank under hard accel but otherwise it was great fun. With a time based boost controller it should hook pretty good i think 8.50's should be Doable it's wild 2 speeds in a small block and it feels like a 900 inch the car flat gets with the program we were rolling into 50mph burnouts for the show hope they show that footage.

Sorry to hear of your crash. Glad both of you emerged unscathed. I look forward to seeing footage of the front tires popping. Hate to be the one who says "I told you so...", but the pro-touring ethos of BALANCE applies to your top end car as well. Is there any reason NOT to run a 235 or 245 front tire as standard equipment? Would they really hurt E.T's at all? A tenth or two?

I'd be interested in seeing you guys make a coupla 8 second passes Some on pizza cutters and some on wider tires--not too wide. I'm curious because we are about to update a pro streeter at my shop with some pro-touring equipment. As we improve the "streeter" side of the equation, we will take away from the "pro" side. The hard part is finding a balance.

Sorry for being critical, but I really wanna know: Would somewhat wider front tires really hurt E.T.s or make the car hard to drive at the drags?

Glad the car is not too bad.. but guys... even just running in a straight line that car is very fast and if I recall the car has a full cage. A million things could happen to cause you problems in a car with that kind of HP...You really should be wearing helmets at the very least... you could have crowned your head on the roll cage..... belts and bodies can get very elastic in an incident

Sorry to hear. Glad you guys are ok though  .
