Hey Andy, thanks for keeping us regularly posted on the car's status. It's been cool checking in on it every week. In regard to different color schemes and such, you're totally right. It's meant to be different and stand out, so you've successfully accomplished that. I can't wait to see it finished. Nice work! :thumbsup:

It really wasn't bad...The front lower corners on the tubs had to be notched
for the lower control arms to clear when lowered...And the spring perches moved in a little to allow the lower control arms to clear the 325's.
The floor had to be notched for the upper cross member that comes with the system...but that had nothing to do with the tubs...:thumbsup:

I went to Allspeed tonight and the camaro looks awesome. They are working extra long hours to get everything ready for Autorama. I can't wait to see the camaro finally done!

It was great working with Andy, he's a cool guy. I can't take credit for the look of the car, I just helped him get the final vision out there until the car is finished. Should make a nice piece to show alongside the car too. :)

Well the car is done and got awesome comments at the Autorama. It even won "best of class". Who woulda thought. Couple more days of tuning... then she's off to sunny Cali.

Well I finally got the tuning done....after some tweaking
she laid down 503@just over 4750...but it seemed to be spinning but was a little hard to tell...So I need to add some more fuel across the top,
made another hit and dang, went to 5000 and put down 521 and the tires were deffenitly spinning that time...afr looked great...cruises at 13.7 in vacume...threw low boost hangs in around 13.0 and in the meat of 10 to 14 psi solid 12.4 threw the top...looks good to me.

Now with that said, lets hit this thing, I have a 6k chip in, to be safe at the momment, so lets get there. after adding some wait and strapps, I hit it agin
straight to 6k, and mind you the pulls are only about 2.5 to 3 seconds long, pretty quick for this power level set up....at about 5200 the tires are begging me to stop, at 5600 you couldn't see behind the car they spinning so bad...
527@5400 rwhp with 463@4600 rwtrq.

Now I'm pleased with that, would have been nice to see the 550 plus on the screen but all thing considered...timing at 32 total, 91 octane, and a 35 profile tire @ 14 psi nonintercooled, spinning the frik out of the tires and not getting to 6500. should be in the ball park.You think?

SHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sooo...

The delivery went perfect. Rob was so stoked...words can't really describe it. The film crew had a tough time filming because they were drooling... Big was dumb founded.. Zues told Rob he needs to get his CCW to keep him from getting jacked... Drama was in awe... And Andy made the sickest entrance TV will ever see. Rob straight jumped off the street. [yikes]

Then Rob had no issues hopping in by himself and man handled the Camaro on his own as if he had been driving one all his life............................ untill he pushed the gas half way. :_paranoid As soon as the bypass valve shut and the boost hit... he backed off with the biggest grin you could ever see. He said the car is just constantly asking to be cut loose... and it takes all his heart and sole to keep it tame.

All in all he loves it... and it is his new daily driver. The Bently is now parked in the street and the Camaro get the roof. :captain:

I would tell you more.. like when his neighbor was tripping and all the car alarms that went off... ... but I can't ruin the story.
