dont be sorry....its all good conversation. But the level of a riddler car is unbelieveable. I spoke with tracy weaver this mornin about this very subject. He was telling me how he had to count stiches in the seats to assure both seat covers were a mirror image. How the bottome of the seats were even covered. Riddler cars are just on another level.... Especially troys latest creation i dont think that car will be topped anytime soon.....

So im at the shop on weds check out the nova. I walk over to first love and take a peak inside and out. Really get a good look at it b/c every time im there its on a lift and now its sitting on the ground next to "vision" It is incredible how different these two cars are. Adam was telling me some little details about the car as well. Things along the lines of counting stitches in the seats and whats been done here and there. I cannot begin to understand how nerve racking it must be to transport those cars. What I want to see is first love on the dyno!! I bet that thing hauls a$$. ....Back to the thread.

[QUOTE=XcYZ]Here are some of the pics that I took at Ring Brothers on Saturday. Mike gave me the green light to go ahead and post them up.

The car is stunning. There's NO way I can capture how amazing this car is. I love the design and everything about it.

The orange in the hockey stripe fades vertically. The rear deck lid and hood are carbon fiber. The wheel openings are stretched. The rear spoiler is intergrated but doesn't go to the edge of the quarter. The body lines are made sharper and carry along the body further. The quarter panel has been sectioned and a carbon fiber piece has been molded into then where the gills use to be and that's also where the gas tank vents. The front fascia and ground effects are killer. There are a TON of details, but I'll just post the pics and let everyone see that for themselves.

Nice!:hail:

Quite a few people have asked about the paint that was used, so here are the codes:

BASF Color Max

Light Grey: M7020A
Dark Grey: M6574J

Thats typical of Jim and Mike.... not afraid to share info. They always take the time to tell you how they did things and show you things other people would not. They are true stand up guys IMO !

Well, Damm does that car look nice.

Great Job RIng Brothers & Crew.:hail:

navyflyer72 03-29-2008 05:17 AM

Maybe I missed it, but are there any renderings or pics of what the interior will look like? Will it be a bare bones racer look, or a much modernized supercar look? I can probably guess, but I would rather see pics.

michael ring 03-29-2008 10:36 AM

Our goal is to make it look very euro and factory built. Hope we can pull it off .

bucks69 03-29-2008 10:57 AM

Welcome aboard Michael. That car is over the top like the rest of your builds. Hard to get a different look that works on these cars because they have been done so many ways but you guys puuled it off. Outstanding workmanship and style..

Oh BTW it helps that you guys actually beat the crap out of them when you get a chance. That is the way it should be done.

Rybar 03-29-2008 12:05 PM

WOW that thing looks nice. Great job guys, I think you pulled it off for sure.

coolwelder62 03-29-2008 02:37 PM

Mike Razor is such a beauitiful car. Its perfect. SMOY agin. You guys make it hard on the rest of trying to build cool cars. You keep topping everybody w/ your build style & workmanship. Keep up the outstanding work. If wasnt so cold in Wiscon. I would ask to sweep your floors to lean a few things. Scott.

bigtyme1 03-29-2008 03:09 PM

do you think that 1/4 panel trim will ever be for sale?

Hi Michael - welcome to the site. The car looks very nice and I look forward to seeing it at Indy.

?? is the grille stock or did you guy's fab it ??

michael ring 04-01-2008 03:55 PM

The grill itself is stock everything around it is fabed . We learned our lesson on that 68 camaro conv back in 2000 . Don't mess with the signature feature .
