Hi all,

Was great to meet some of you at Steve's shop last night. Big thanks to Scott and Steve for having me and my buddy Jay (the photographer guy) along there. As I mentioned to Scott, I'll try getting on here alot more as I'm hopefully staying out here and will be looking for some kind of gas guzzler to keep me busy.

Jay took a stack of photos, so I'll send Scott the link and he can put them on the site.

Wow, what an EVENT!! The turnout was huge (easily 230+ people) and there were some damn cool cars to check out.

This EVENT woudn't have happened without Steve, Jason, and the rest of the Sandlin Lumber crew. They put in some long hours and some serious work to get the building setup, cars on display, all the tables and carpet, etc. It was truly special - you don't get to see cars like that all in one building.

Thanks again, Steve. It was without a doubt the highlight of my SEMA trip.

Pics coming soon. :)

XcYZ 11-05-2005 12:34 PM

I'll have a webpage up ASAP. Here's a teaser.

I second that. You'd be hard-pressed to find another guy as cool and generous as Mr. Sandlin. Had an awesome time and it was great to meet several of you guys there.

Thanks again Steve! :hail:

O M G

I had a feeling that Sandlin's party would be the thing I regretted most by not being there. These pictures confirm it. I think I will go kick myself now.

BTW is that Chezoom next to the Inciner8or?

Yeah Russ, that would be Chezoom. One of Steves friends was kind enough to bring five or so of his cars to the party as well. Cool, huh?

RussMS 11-05-2005 02:14 PM

OK I will go kick myself harder now.

I will do everything in my power to be there next time. Glad you guys had fun and the pics look great.

C'mon guys you must have better pictures of the waitresses.

You haunt me for bringing Scandinavian blonds, now it's payback time.

We must see that aftermarket stuff you have been talking so much about. :willy: :willy:

Steve,

Although I didn't get the chance to speak or meet you in person, I wanted to thank you for your hospitality of a great party. My fiance and I didn't get there until after the prizes were givin out but all I can say is when we walked in I just about passed out. Awesome car show to say the least!!!
I did however see you again on friday at the strip with your new car, again I wanted to say hi and thank you but you looked pretty busy workin on the car
so I didnt want to bother you. Nice racecar!! If you have another party next year I will have to make a point to meet you for sure.

Anyway, thanks again for everything and Scott thank you too!!!
