The car looks fantastic Mike. What a change from the last time I saw it (in your garage when we stopped by in Trush's car and needed some temporary welding to get home!).

The car looks amazing. I noticed this thread started exactly 3 years ago to the day.. Keep the photos coming I like studying the transformation.:)

Sweat car! I love the way it is turning out. Did you have to modify the bracket on the booster to get it to sit right? I have to same setup, but it sits at to much of an angle and won't clear the hood.

Thanks Jody. Those were some fun times in Trush's B-top. I'm gonna stop and see you guys Wednesday night at the Flamingo.

I did cut the bracket and weld it to get the proper angle and clear the engine bay bar. I believe DSE now sells a bracket so you don't have to do what I did.

SEMA Bound

I know it's been a really long time since I've posted but I wanted to get back to it. I still have my car and thought I would share what's been going on since I finished it. Over the past 2 years I've been fortunate to be able to attend several track and autocross events such as the Motor State Challenge, The Day at the Strip, Ohio Muscle Car Challenge and some fun track days at Gingerman Raceway.

This year I'm brining the car to SEMA! This has always been a dream of mine.

Mike,

Congrats on SEMA.

I had wondered who's sweet '67 that was when looking at the Motorstate pics.

I doubt we'll get Trush out there two years in a row but I'll take you up on the first round.

Hey Mike! Never knew you had a build thread here, awesome! just breezed thru it, noticed my recently acquired trailer that I finally talked Bill out of, haha.
We are going out to Sema and Optima this year too, is the rest of your family going? Have to get together out there. Missed you at OMCC and Day at the Strip this year.

This thread is so old not many people know it exists. LOL!

No family this time, going out there by myself. Not sure if I'll be at Optima unless of course I'm invited :unibrow: . We need to get together for sure.

First order of business to get ready for SEMA was to help out my tired old brakes.
