Looking good man. Those are some HUGE brakes. The wheels look good on that car as well.
Good luck and keep us posted.

ProdigyCustoms 09-08-2009 02:54 PM

Badd ass indeed. You are the first ever to recieve those monsters for a live axle. I will be second for one of my projects.

I love the Lambo Orange idea. We just did mMichaels Mustang Magic Black and Lambo Orange two tone.

I was thinking about this theme for my next Camaro, but if you beat me too it.......Oh well.

Rybar 09-09-2009 11:10 AM

Little bit of a parts update. So I called Blake from Speedtech about some bolts for the front clip. That let to ordering Speedtech headers made by Stainless works. I also ordered the steering shaft kit and ball joint covers.
Next is the Auto Rad Radiator slash core support. Man what a work of art! This thing is bad arse!

Nice stuff! Yeah that radiator support thingy looks pretty sick!

Vegas69 09-24-2009 09:18 PM

Sick dude....you may want to spray the front of the support semi gloss though. That is a ton of aluminum with all the grill space we have.

awr68 09-24-2009 10:42 PM

Sweet!

The idea is to find someone that can anodize it black. If I cant find someone Ill just shoot it.

Ron Fox 09-25-2009 01:08 PM

Nice build. What brand of wheels do you have?

Camaro

I know you have a while before you finish your project camaro, but when you finish, if you could post a list of the parts you used, including the vendors and price, it would be greatly appreciated. It would help us beginners out tremendously. Thanks. Awesome ride!!!

This was posted in my intercooler thread as I was talking about anodizing mine.

"Be careful. The advice I have gotten from the folks at Ron Davis is that anodizing is not an option due to the cooling fins being too thin. They have seen several radiators ruined this way."

I think I will just paint mine if I still want it black....

The plan is to just do the core support.

Well my front brakes came in today:thumbsup: Still waiting for the master, lines ect. But atleast Im able to get the front wheels on. Man I nailed fitment on this package! These are the W6 Wilwoods, they are BIG! But who would have know they would fill out the 19's on the front so well. Look how close the Caliper is to the rim! JUST PERFECT! I also got the motor/trans pretty much in. Tomorrow Ill go over a couple things and call it good enough for mock up.

Yeah -- Billet Specialties make NICE product!

I had to call them to see what size the O rings they used were -- and they said no problem - we'll just send you some! Gotta like a manufacturer like that!!

Love the black anodizing!

That's the money shot right there!!

BritishGreen68 10-17-2009 09:14 PM

Do you have 19's on the front or 20's? They look like 20's but i read you said the 19's barely cleared the brakes..What tire sizes are you running front and rear?

camaro2nv 10-21-2009 06:10 PM

The last time my car rolled into my garage was a year ago. Its SO nice to see it on all four wheels again. I know I still have a LONG way to go but I feel like Ive accomplished something with this bad boy. :)
