Not sure how I missed this build..........amazing build.

Approximately how many hours do you guys have into metal fab? Or maybe how many do you think it will be after your done with the metal work? If you dont want to give exact, I understand.

UPDATES!!!! Sorry I have not updated this is quite some time.. The car has gotten a lot of attention from a few performance manufacturers who have seen it and are currently showing us a few cutting edge products that have been worth slowing the build down... Its very exciting and all coming together.. We are in Ft Worth Texas for the Goodguys show right now but I will post some new pics when I get back to the shop... Stay tuned!! Its gonna be worth the wait!!!

I figured you guys were busy. I can't wait to see this project finished. I'll work on my patience - keep up the good work!

Beautiful car!! Your work is incredible!

How did you do the brake bias knob? Is the prop valve plumbed under the console right there, or is it somehow remote operated? Very cool idea.

Any updates??

64pontiac 02-25-2011 07:16 AM

WOW love this build. Frame looks amazing, sheet metal is top notch! Can't say enough great things about it!

What A/C vents are you using in the dash, which looks amazing by the way? Are they an oem vent (ford?)

So we should see an update about 3pm EST with complete paint and ready to sand and buff. I know you guys can get some work done, or so the Boss always says.

Tracy finished the interior Sunday and Kenny is prepping her for Scottsdale next week. Are you guys coming out? Trendsetter King Kurt said he was going to ride the real bull this year and show us lesser folks how it's done.

Great looking Nova Kurt. I really like the way you guys did the sheet metal fab in the engine bay. The inner fenders flow nice.
You guys going to Face off at Road America this here.

So what your trying to say is the Nova didn't get painted yesterday.

That's a really good idea, I will take your name change idea into consideration. But since we are on the subject of names, where did the name RPM come from? Obviously everyone knows RPM means Rev's per Minute but I'm beginning to think Re - Paint the Mustang makes alot more sense. :D :D :D

War 03-03-2011 09:51 AM

Why did they have to Re-Paint the Mustang? Was it to Low, to Loud, Or to Fast?:_paranoid

When you actually drive the wheels off the cars you build and not just trailer them from show to show sometimes a little touch up work is required... :drive:

So now I'm even more confused, What is this for?

I could have sworn it was for Hauling cars from show to show.

Is this your screen saver? I bet it says "Some Day" above it... Here is a much better pic for you! It has a few finished cars in it... Perfect for the "Some Day" title..

This Coming from a guy who took 8 years to build a mini truck that he never drove.

Actually just shy of 5 years. We could also subtract 1 year for Kenny's boo boo which was a pretty ligit reason to put the project on hold.

I did drive the truck Pro-Fair Grounds at Columbus. I think I saw you driving your truck there to the year before.

More important - it's not just a mini-truck it was theee Mini-Truck that all other mini-trucks will strive to be. I dare you to find another idiot like me that would spend that kind of money on a mini-truck. I am certain you will have hard time.

ps - now the 70 Camaro project that should be a Columbus or Sema next year that is if all goes well. But I never really set a time limit on the build. I just enjoy the build part more then I do washing and cleaning them.

Yeap, "Someday" is what I say when I think of exactly how long the payment plan must be on something like that.

What exactly is the mini truck of all mini trucks, isn't it still a mini truck?

Isn't that like being the tallest Midget?

I would never make a short joke about you, but I would laugh at the fact you shave your legs. :D :D :D

RPM HOTRODS 03-03-2011 02:44 PM

I wouldn't really know about the payment plan on it, I try my best to pay for things like the rig without having it hanging over the shop every month. I didn't buy it new and we did alot of work to it to make it right. I also spent zero on hotel rooms last year too(talk about throwing money away). I can pm you pics of the titles if you want. Well, I got to get back to work now!!!!
