Perfect solution. |
What a great shop you guys have and top work :hail:

Time for another update. This one is for the traditional hot rod guys. Here are a few shots of some other hot rod projects we currently have going on.
First is a 28 extended cab p/u on a custom 32 chassis we built. Flathead with a TKO 5-speed. This one is going to be a very traditional styled build. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18784.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18786.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18323.jpg We also received the new Roush 342 for the 34 coupe and have begun some custom touches. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18714.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18713.jpg The customer wanted something other than the standard hot rod style tail lights so we fabbed these based off of a 37 Ford light. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18319.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18314.jpg |
A few new arrivals! I will be starting individual threads as they progress.

Wow some sweet stuff right there.
|
Thanks Wayne.
Here is an update on a truck that we built about 4 years ago. Mike was looking to get a little more power out of the big block under the hood. We decided on a small Weiand blower to give it a little extra help and still work with all of the accessories that were currently on the engine. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...FORD-01-HR.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture16982.jpg We fabbed up an aluminum air cleaner/scoop to dress up the engine compartment. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture17692.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture17677.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture17666.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18751.jpg |
Wow! Very nice!
|
I think I wet myself....
Sweet..... Love those trucks. Used to have a nice one... and I miss it. |
That truck is hot sh*t! I love the floor in the bed! That bumper is pretty sweet, too.
|
Thanks guys. This truck is still one of my favorite builds. It has a lot of cool metal work that you wouldn't realize until it was next to a stock truck.
|
is the model a cab one that the aussies are building?
|
Yeah, it is the Australian cab with a Brookville bed.
|
hows quality and pricing on them?
|
Not sure on the pricing. The customer purchased the cab and bed himself and had it shipped to us. The quality of the cab seems to be pretty nice. We have not really got into any metal work on it yet, but the fit and finish appears to be well done.
|
Wow, you guys do amazing work. Keep us posted.

Garick - we haven't touched the Chevelle in quite some time. Have had too much going on with customer cars to touch our own build.
OrangeVert - We custom mixed that green to get what the owner was looking for. We started with a GM production color and then kept tinting it and spraying different levels of matte clear to get the desired color. That is one color that I never thought anyone would be asking for the paint code on! Unless that was a sarcastic question on your part. |

I didn't realize that was your car. Well hell, there is no sense in letting those nice custom bumpers go to waste. I know of a car they would look sweet on....MINE!!:D :D Anyways congrats on another SMOTY, it was well deserved. |

Any pictures of that yellow Jeep Comanche (not really sure?) ? It looks pretty cool, and I love the Speed '33 with the slat nose in the background of the second picture.
|
I think its a Ford Bronco

my first car was a 81 bronco 2 , i flipped (almost rolled) it after only 6 months!:( |
I kinda looks like an older model Jeep from the back, anyway, yeah, those are pretty cool rides, anymore pics of it?

My uncle and older brother had several broncos like above. Lots of good memories blasting around in the mud and trails. |
Phil, what clear did you guys use on the flat green M3?
|
That is a '76 Bronco in the background. Nothing special, I built it way back when I was in high school.
|
Great updates. Very nice build.
That color is killer! |
Things have been pretty busy around the shop and I've been slacking on this thread. In addition to completing the Nova for Columbus, we have also been running wide open on several other areas.
The body work and prep was wrapped up on the 55 Nomad and we sprayed the body this week. The rest of the parts are going into the booth and the cut and buff will begin on the main body. Chassis has been assembled and ready to go under the body as well. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture20681.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture20698.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture20700.jpg |
Another cool project that we are just about wrapping up is a bitchen' Nova Gasser. This was originally a PHR cover car back in 1973. The majority of the components remain original to the car. We are making a few refinements for drivability and safety but it will otherwise appear basically as it did in the early 70's.
A copy of the original cover and article. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18807.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...ure20753-r.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...ure20754-r.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18081.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18082.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18084.jpg http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...cture18086.jpg |
Nothing nicer than a nice turquoise and India Ivory Nomad.... :unibrow: :D
|
Gasser Nova..... ruler
|
And then this incredible piece of mechanical artwork showed up on our door step!
