Wheel travel is about 3 inches, Im going to change the rear springs, they came with the car, and now that Im full weight(darn near, I have gas in tank) might need to swap. Wheels are 18x12 with a 335/30 I think is 25.9. The guys at 417 Motorsports killed the wheel arches.. there is Plenty of room..

Stance is spot on. What's your overall wheel diameter in the rear? How much travel do you have? I really would like to bring my car down lower, but I worry I won't have good travel.

Math says 'yes' on that 25.9 number for the height.
417 Motorsports did very well on the tubs if there's 3" of compression travel there.

qnitro 02-09-2021 01:59 PM

Yeah they pulled all the metal out custom tubs and built a 1/4 lip.. its super nice

he TA is super close, the interior is at Upholstery shop, I get it back in 2 weeks, my SUPER awesome body/paint guy is helping(well doing it for me) building some panels for the floor, as I cut the rear passenger floor in 2 places to tuck the 3" exhaust, and he has all the fancy tools and knowledge, while its there he is gonna fix my scratches and such while I was putting together, so I can finally assemble. Headliner is in, All the weather stripping done, Im super close on this one being finished, it runs, has all the fluids, need to do final bleeding of brakes, so I anticipate beginning of Dec all done.. ready for GoodGuys in March, so I can knock out the Mustang for Goodguys in March as well..

I am having the same issue with the Upper Control Arms on my car. I really want the SPC Arms for my car as I would love to get rid of the Pivot shaft shims.
The 97130 are more for street is what I am told but I would love to here your thoughts.

SPC Performance 94340 or the SPC Performance 97130

qnitro 12-02-2021 10:58 AM

They are not certified for track use(SFI) but meet fed standards.. Ill have a set for racing if I ever do that. I just wanted something convenient for driving to move in the seat

Well getting down to it.. almost done, Had to remove the tranny to shim(yeah I didnt do it up front) Car is running and moving now, time to wrap it up :) I need to trim some fender flares in the rear, the Hydratech still has some air in the system( I did the steering wheel back and forth 500 times, no lie I counted) need to get the rest of the interior in.. I missed GoodGuys this weekend, Im really bummed I missed it. First time missing GG when I set the goal to do it. Car needs to go back to my exhaust guy, I did some "mods"(raised the floor to get more clearance) and its got some exhaust leaks.. than drive to work all the bugs out

WSSix 03-13-2022 10:58 AM

Sorry you missed GG but I'm glad you got the car running and driving. Have fun sorting the details outs.
