It's scratch built with 1.75"D .120" wall DOM tubing. The flanges were made from .250" CR plate. I made the lower ring that finishes the tube to frame connection from .375" CR plate.

Yes I just moved to a new shop with more space. I don't know the policy for advertising so I'll PM you the info.

GriffithMetal 11-29-2012 05:22 PM

Thank you all for the compliments. I have to thank SW for giving me a chance to build this car. It really is tough finding customers to build cars like this one. I will try to answer your questions and I'll post more pictures this weekend. For now it's back to work!

Eric

I'm glad Eric posted up those pics, I have been way too busy. What can I say, Eric did a fantastic job. You guys know me and how picky I am. Everything was done with thought and perfection. As far as working with Eric, it was very easy. He billed me once a week and I know he did alot of extra work that I didn't get charged for. He is very passionate about his work and he will be the person that will build my future cars. If any of guys ever need anything done, Eric is the man!

SW,
What is the model of brake booster/master you are using?

Looks like a DSE Unit

Item # 050102 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder Kit - 1970-191 Camaro/Firebird

You are going to also need the reduced angle bracket if it's for a 2nd gen

050302 "Brake Booster Bracket Set (Reduced Angle) 67-69 F-Body"

SW,

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the differences between the 1st gen vs. 2nd gen F-bodies... after they've been given the DSE treatment?

Yes, the centers were painted body color then finished with a flat clear.
