After over a month off because of illness, travel, and other fun stuff, I'm finally working on the car again. My firewall/core support bars have been completed and I raised the engine/trans 1-1/4" to gain additional clearance for my steering system. Today I added my version of a monte carlo bar...

Dude don't do that ... For a split second there I thought it was Thanksgiving.

Sadly nothing major. I've been on the road so much I haven't seen the project in a couple months. Should be back mid-September and hoping to get some time on it to finish up the welding on the chassis. Then I can start working on the body and tin.

Still glad to know it's out there though. Really cool build.

Sadly no progress Gary, and Vince. Hoping to start getting some work done soon though. I've been doing some planning and working out next steps. Couple things I need to figure out what I want to do before I go too much further but should start seeing some progress soon. How's your build coming Gary? I haven't checked in on anything in a while.

Hi Will, my project has been put in slow motion. I have managed to fab a few parts, but I have had to prioritize things over the last year. Things are falling into place for me now though. Will soon have my own shop and should be able to get my car back into my garage.

Any updates you can post?

Ya pretty amazing to just tackle building your own pro touring chassis.
I have seen lots of guys do rat rods but they don't have perform all that great haha
