It's been a good run with this one but long...Thanks for the compliments!

Not too much progress but enough to satisfy me for the week! Mufflers are due in tomorrow and that will keep me busy for a day or so. Anyway got the car turned around right in the shop and all the sheet metal back on. Working on alignment on the front suspension now. I got my hood latch installed from Screamin Performance and the kick panels. Just a fit look for now and will cover them this winter.

Hi.

Hi. The car is looking awesome, I have just had a colour change done on mine, I went away from the dark gunmetal, it didn't work for me, looks perfect on your car but. Cheers Trevor.

I got the exhaust ran and not completely done with it yet. And planning on welding everything up on the car. Nothing special but love the sound from it. Here is a short vid. https://youtu.be/EGwc6st0VLY

Got the car out of the shop finally in 3 years since it came home. Nothing special but a real accomplishment for me to say the least. I've got to get the interior and final details done on it like the grill bumpers and finish the chrome and it should be ready for the streets. Thanks again for all the comments and words guys.

Hi Skip.

Hi Skip, Gee she's coming along nicely mate, sounds sweet too. It might have been a few years now, but once your all done I imagine all the good times will be well worth all the effort involved. Well Done!!!! Cheers Trevor.

Really looks great sitting outside! Congrats on getting this far and I'm sure you are on the downhill side of the build!

Love the pics! And the vids really give me the kick in the pants to get out and keep working on mine!

Thanks for embedding the video Skip. I've got a few things to tune like the carb but all in a nut shell it's pretty close. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks Trevor, yes it's been a long haul to say the least. The biggest thing that helped me was not getting in a hurry.

Thanks Tony, I tried to look your build thread up and cannot find it. I'd like to check it out. And you are right it takes a lot of motivation to keep working on these things for sure. Hopefully this winter I can get it finished for the spring!
Thanks again guys!

I like the wheels as well. Your car looks great! The time and care you put into it shows.

Thanks again guys!

My threads are still there somewhere. LOL
I will probably start a new one once I make a little more progress.

Keep at it, spring is just around the bend!

randy 01-27-2016 08:25 PM

bracket makes sense now. Are you sure that back bracket is needed? with it bolted to the dash brace, screwed into the cow by the two screws and attached on the passanger side dash i think thats pretty secure. I just need to finish my passenger mount and be done with it.

waynieZ 01-27-2016 10:33 PM

It looks nice !

WSSix 01-28-2016 05:10 AM

Nice work! Keep it up. You're almost there
