Check out these stats for the 37 registered cars at the USCA event...on the speed/stop challenge the event logged 740 laps. Heck I think I ran around 40 myself. On the auto-x there was 1264 laps run or 33 laps per participant. Today we ran 2100 laps on the road course and a few of us had mechanicals or just flat got wore out. There was only one car, Cheryl Herrick in her Jet Hot Nova in the final Advanced class that ran for a 12 minute session all alone. She had an instructor and was hitting the rev limiter going faster and faster. For me, this was an event like none other as far as testing car and driver ability. I give the sponsors (Optima, BFG, DSE, Ridetech, Jet Hot, Snap-On, etc.) and Jimi Day and his team/partners a major round of applause. It was safe, educational and very fun. Here is a pretty cool pic of my Camaro on the road course. My day did end early when I lost a rear axle seal but I had a blast. Limped it home without incident and now am thinking what to do next. I'd love to install a 9" full floater. Hmm...Daytona is not far off on the schedule! Attachment 46851 |

TA on the dyno!
1 Attachment(s)
The TA has been on the rollers the past couple days at West Bend Dyno. Jesse, Brian and the WBD team are exceeding all expectations with the MSD Atomic EFI Wegner built 416ci LS3 stroker motor. The car made over 550rwhp and 500wtq! :warning:
Here is a pic of it on the dyno: Attachment 47175 Here is a link to the dyno video from the West Bend Dyno Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater |

Albert should be jealous of what you've done with the car!! |
That sounded good! Congrats on the setup! You are going to love that car... Now aren't you glad you didn't rush it home for the GG show? :)
|

My wife is trying to decide on a license plate for the TA. Check out her favorite and let me know your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, alternatives...
Attachment 47199 |
Jay,
That's a good one. My suggestion (if it's available) would be: LITE BRD Or LITE TA |
I like your wife's suggestion for a name.
|
Genius. Let the wife have that one!!!

Trans Am KLR BRD Update
7 Attachment(s)
We got to see the Trans Am "KLRBRD" in West Bend today. We were speechless. The guys at West Bend Dyno have done a terrific job. They have invested quite a bit of blood, sweat and tears into this car. They and Albert have made us a part of their family throughout the entire build. We have a few punch list items for them to address. (brake pedal reach, rear seat modification, shifter reach and fixing some rattles in the packaging tray area). All in all it looks great and we can't wait to get it out on the road for some driving events.
Check out the updated pics... Attachment 47605 Attachment 47606 Attachment 47607 Attachment 47608 Attachment 47609 Attachment 47610 Attachment 47611 |
