I had seen it advertised also but never had seen it so thought I would try it,I cut my firewall out and welded it in,I did just weld it over the upper cowl/firewall.I like it really well, still need to drill for my ac/heater hoses and wiring harness.

It's a JCG Restorations part. Chris was hand making these for his first gen customer builds and then he sold the design to Dynacorn to start stamping them. If you go to the JCG Restorations website, they actually sell a billet plate with the A/C ports that fits right in the rectangle stamping on the passenger side.

Here is a 7 year old thread, post #206 shows the first firewall he ever made along with the billet A/C plate.

Jeff all that horse power on those pallets makes it look like Santa,s work shop for car guys! That’s a nice looking firewall. The engine looks good in there. It’s looking good.

made a little more progress, got the radiator from Entropy, the inner cooler is from C&R Racing.Concept One makes the A/C comp. and bracket which is a great product that is such a tight fit for these engines.http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psqy7suvkm.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...pstebpjy6f.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psh3iyyc9q.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psee2gaorf.jpg

Jeff, any reason why you did not choose a C&R radiator to complement their inter cooler? Also, using the Concept one, did it clear the DSE subframe? if so which DSE engine mount kit did you use to achieve the clearance?
thanks
jon

I already had the Entropy radiator before I bought the LS9,The Concept One setup is great,it has to be used with DSE Subframe and 1.5" setback engine mounts. Its extremely tight but is very nice.

Thanks Jeff! I will make sure to order the correct setback mounts from DSE and the Concept One for my LS9. Your car and parts are looking great:thumbsup:
