Thanks man but moving shop to shop and all things being replaced has been beat up pretty good. At this point do not care what it looks like I just want it to be able to drive it. LOL

will69camaro 10-03-2016 10:24 AM

Sounds exactly about how I feel about my car. Not pretty but just wanna drive it!

My car is not even close to your zip code. LOL I just cannot wait till that day comes when it is able to be driven. I also cannot wait till the day comes that my bank account does not decline in price everyday. LOL

Feel that pain, and i feel like i'm close to the end and it's ramping up again it seems on the misc ****.

I'm "done" then there's 1-2k in parts ordered to "finish" and more left...

Thanks brother trust me there is no one more excited than me to here this bitch fire one time. Has been a nightmare but finally starting to see the light. :G-Dub:

Juicypop 01-10-2017 09:13 AM

Well the car finally got into the chassis shop so they could finish adjusting the torque arm and adjust all the coil overs. I am also having them fab a custom cold air intake because of the clearance issues of the radiator just real tight so they are going fab one up. I am also having them make a seat belt bracket for the rear for daughters car seat. Still lot to do but is starting to see the light and may be able to fire it up for the first time when it returns from the chassis shop and gets back to my mechanic. I will try to take some more pics when I get back to the chassis shop.

Chassis shop just finished adjusting the pinion angle and set the ride height with me in the car for the coil overs. They also custom fab'd a cold air intake but is at the powder coaters. Car is going back to my mechanics shop to hopefully be put together complete and fire up we hope.

Car on the top is my mechanics wifes car. Know is a late model super clean camaro with a small block and custom interior. Very clean car.

Juicypop 04-07-2017 07:54 AM

I had a local guy in Baytown ,TX do the exhaust took some work to get through the torque arm but he managed to get it done. All 3" and we used four magnaflow bullet mufflers and ran it out the back.

I had Billy Whatley at Motorsports Technologies (MTI) tune the car. We struggled with lot issues in the beginning but he managed to get it all dialed in. He is going to retune it in couple weeks once get some miles on the motor. It made 436 rwhp going through the 4l80e and bolt on ls7 am happy with that for sure.

Juicypop 04-07-2017 08:02 AM

The car is on the road been driving last couple days since we had great weather. I have one of the best mechanics he does great work he is honest really appreciate all he did for me to get this car on the road. Has been a long process of trial and error but am happy to get through it all.

I am going to save for paint due to so far over budget on this car never know what you buy until you take all a part. Glad I know now it is a solid car and have replaced just about anything I could. Put all the stereo stuff in it last night so will try get some pics of that but other than that this is how the car will be till can afford to paint it. I already have all new quarter panels, trunk, and know where some new doors our may purchase just want make the car look slick when I do paint it when ever that may be. Anyway thanks for everyone else on the board who have answered my p.m.s and questions for this noob. See you on the power tour or cruising the coast!

Wow just went through your build thread and love what you have done to it. She looks bad a$$. Don't worry about the paint. Trust me your gonna have way more fun and be way more relaxed cruising it just the way it is. Besides it looks outstanding just the way it is. Now go leave some black marks every chance you can lol.

Che70velle 04-08-2017 03:30 PM

Great job on this! Car looks great, and 436 to the wheels is certainly no slouch. Just in time for great weather, enjoy it!

Going through a 4l80e I am happ with that. Weather has been awesome here car is fun to drive that is for sure. Appreciate the kind words.

Tinker 04-08-2017 08:07 PM

Nice work. How does the car sound? I have been contemplating adding a second set of straight thru mufflers at the tailpipe. I have flowmasters ending before the axle and its not very conducive to conversation inside the car on the road.

tmadden 04-09-2017 08:42 AM

Car turned out great. Enjoy the hell out of it.

will69camaro 04-10-2017 05:54 AM

Nice meeting you yesterday at Royal Purple / Viper Nationals. Good to put faces to names. Car looks like it's come a long way and the stance/wheels are PERFECT.

Keep plugging away, it's looking nearly complete! Enjoy it a while before putting it in paint jail, and if you need a local recommendation, let me know.

It did quiet it down quite a bit and buddy of mine rolled doing 70 with windows down could still hold conversation. With them up is very quiet for 3" exhaust.
