Thats exactly what i used. Nicest headers Ive ever used, i didn't pay retail on anything DSE on the car.

Jimbo1367 12-21-2020 08:03 AM

Glad to hear that. DSE prices are pretty steep, but I d run Em too if I could justify the cost to myself and actually afford them LOL

I got the Haltech ECU and ECU Masters PDM mounted today. I really wanted to put them behind the rear seat cushion for easy access but my wiring guy didn’t want to twist wires over a 4’ section. Also got the Recaros mounted to see how I fit in the car. Used the Planted Tech seat bases with the Recaro sliders. They worked great.

Awesome build!

Do you have any photos of how the pedal box was mounted inside the car? I'm running the same pedal box and am curious to see how much structure they have built to handle the forces put on a manual brake pedal.

Yes it is...I have their kit on my 69. I like how it's clean and hidden away.

It’s been a while since I posted a update. But the car is at paint and coming along nicely.

I’ve also dropped the motor off at paint and got it back. I got a new LS3 block and built a 416 stroker with Frankenstein F Series heads and their intake. Motor has 11.3:1 compression and will stay NA.

camcojb 02-24-2022 10:15 AM

Love the billet pieces. Great work!

214Chevy 02-24-2022 10:16 PM

Frankenstein makes some killer pieces. I love his stuff.

WSSix 02-25-2022 07:25 PM

Very pretty. That's going to look fantastic when the hood is open. Glad to see the progress!

That is a stunning core support. Could you provide me a link?

I'm building a 76 T/A and I'm very interested.

Thank you,
Andrew

It’s made by AutoRad. I’m not 100% sure they have it in their site. I had to call and ask the owner if she would make one and she did. That was a couple years ago.

Autorad is no longer in business, the owner retired.

Here’s a few updates from the body shop. I’ll never understand why it flips the pics.

camcojb 04-30-2022 04:54 PM

Ask Apple why they flip lol. Fixed them. Here's how:

If I know Brian, this thing is going to be super slick, laser straight and wet when he finishes with it.

Changed directions on the wheels. Had to have the HRE’s rehooped due to offset miscalculation and was never happy with them after that. Attachment 78888

The Camaro has been in paint jail for a bit now. Progress is being made but it just takes a while no matter what you do. So I had to pick up something to keep me entertained. My last 3 “side cars” have been single cab trucks. So I needed a change. Picked up this crazy clean 62 BelAir. It’s 100% complete and detailed out car which is not my norm. But I figured I’d try something different and start enjoying it immediately. Don’t have intentions on doing much to it. Attachment 78966

Went and checked on the Camaro. It’s about to get a 2nd light coat of poly. Vastine’s put the hours in with the body work the 1st go around and only had a few spots burn thru.

camcojb 10-18-2022 08:09 PM

Nice gaps!

Goosesdad 10-19-2022 10:01 AM

Awesome!

214Chevy 10-19-2022 11:02 AM

Brian is one of the best. Does exceptional work. One thing about it, when it's done...it'll be super nice.
