[QUOTE=syborg tt;734994]I can’t believe how good the engine bay looks

Thanks Marty ... this was a very tough decision as for the same amount of $$ I could have purchased an LT4. Building an LS3 Crossram is VERY expensive and now I know why most people don't do it. BUT, as you know I like to build sh!t that most do not. So yes I do give up some power Vs the LT4, BUT look at all the builds these days, all you see is LT4's.

I wanted to see something very special when you open the hood, and quite honestly I think we can all agree that the 'right' amount of HP for a street car is 500 whp and I am hoping that this is what we will see on Wednesday.

Cheers
Steve

 :morepower:

I jest, 500 rwhp is a lot of fun. Good luck on the dyno.

Sheck44 09-10-2025 04:36 AM

Ok ... Off to Dyno, fingers crossed

That torque curve is a lot of fun!

Also, I stand corrected. Leaving the intake red was the right choice.

Car looks great, Steve.

Was going to post this elsewhere a while back but this looks like a good time for this question.
Who has the answer to keeping that steering wheel looking like new soft leather?
I love the soft satin look, but after repeated use the leather gets harder and buffed to a shine where you hold the wheel.
Any certain product or procedure to keep it looking new?

Chris, I cannot speak for others but I use the McGuire's Leather cleaner/care and have had great results with it.

Stay tuned, LOTS of pics coming ! This car turned out to be spectacular
