We had a O class stocker motor on the dyno the day before, made 370hp with break in oil a 465 Holley and .400 lift cam on that one. We had to take it off and throw mine on and rig a stand for the dry sump pan. :faint: We got 12 total pulls on mine but only 8 of those were tuning. We just got over the 700hp mark. Avg from 4500 to 7200rpm was 645hp and 584 tq. Quote:

The thing actually will idle below 900rpm and pull 10in of vacuum down there. It should be pretty tame on the street.:D |
Sweet! It's always nice to succeed with a plan.
So.... now let's talk money. :unibrow: What was the cost of the Ford Hp per dollar. I'm just kidding you of course.... mature adults NEVER talk money! We just talk about "what we want"! You got what you wanted! :woot: |
Looks like you have a contender......if you can get the car under 5,500 lbs. :D
|
Nice!
|
Dude, congrats! That is some serious power--especially for such an ancient intake manifold. I bet there is another easy 30 to 40 or more in swapping that out. Are you happy with it? That's all that matters in the end---

Congrats Rob, that should be able to haul the mail!
|
Nice, rob! That is going to be a fun motor and should be perfect for a wide range of driving events, street, autocross, road racing, etc. lots of power down low, and it spins up to 7200.
Now I'm just waiting to see what Todd can come up with as retort, when comparing it to a certain ZL1. |
