For you newbs to welding -- I want you to get over drooling on the dime stacks long enough to notice how CLEAN their metal is.... Trust me when I tell you it DOES make a difference.

yeah it does, wonder if they media blast or have a disc jockey for cleaning. I see some shops clean the whole pipe and not just the tips.

Love the truck stuff. Jason, are you guys still doing truck chassis?

I think they do just the weld joints for some kind of rust control or prevention method. Just less to scotchbrite as they try and clean the truck.

Most of the truck never get painted or coated.

negative, I help and advise some friends through builds but I'm not building anything off-road related.
