I was having issues with my fuel tank system - and wanted to make dropping the fuel tank easier.

I decided to drop the transaxle out of the car - and with that gone - I was able to not only fix the fuel system - but I also decided to upgrade the clutch while I was in there.

The stock LS2 clutch only had 50k miles on it - but I decided to upgrade to the LS7 clutch while it was apart.

With the car torn apart - I also replaced the throwout bearing/slave cylinder, and installed a Tick Performance Speed Bleeder while I was in there.

Parts Used:
GM LS7 Clutch http://amzn.to/2r1DFDO
GM Input Bearing http://amzn.to/2rP79c2
Tick Performance Speed Bleeder http://amzn.to/2rZAT6Z
Powerbuilt Flywheel Tool: http://amzn.to/2u1PFuk

Hey Jim - that was probably me. I'm the only modified white SS in the area - at least that I know of.

You plan on going back to Mooresville at all?

Yeah sure do, I live in Huntersville but the in-laws live in Mooresville, If you remember, I'm the Aussie guy

I got rid of the last chrome parts on the outside of the car.

I looked into several options including painting the handles, wrapping them, and replacing them with non chrome Caprice PPV handles.

Replacing/painting the handles was going to be several hundreds of dollars - so I decided to wrap them in 3M vinyl.

To wrap the handles - all you have to do is clean the handles off - and get started.

Cut the vinyl to the length that you need - place it on the handle - and use you finger name to push in the edges where you are going to cut.

Use a sharp blade and cut the vinyl out - then remove the excess.

Cut the chrome button - and now you are done.

I finally got the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials installed on the C6 Z06 front wheel.

I test fit the wheels - and the clear both the SS and the Corvette with no major issue.

The 305's stick out of the back of the SS a good bit - but they fit under the Corvette with no issue.

The 305 is a bit large for the SS and a bit undersized for the Corvette - but this was the comprise that I have to deal with to fit on set of drag wheels/tires on 2 cars.

Parts Used:
Mickey Thompson 305 35 18 - http://amzn.to/2ufcit1
C6 Z06 Front Wheels 18x9.5

I am upgraded all of the exterior 194 bulbs on the Chevy SS with a set of Jtechnow 194 LED's.

The install was pretty straight forward - the LED's fit right in place of the 194 bulbs.

The clutch pedal was sticking last time I went to the drag strip. So I decided to swap out the clutch fluid - and filmed how to do it.

Swap the fluid 3 times or so - and you should be good to go.

Parts Needed:
Brembo Brake LCF600 Fluid http://amzn.to/2uFaUSj
Plastic Syringe http://amzn.to/2uJzUGy

I took the Corvette out onto the Road course/Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

This was a charity event supporting the Speedway Childrens Charity - and they had the road course open. For $25 - you got 3 laps around the road course.

For the first section - I drove my Corvette.

For the second session - I rode along in my friends SS.

I took the Supercharged SS to Zmax Dragway for a Test & Tune!

This is the first time that the car has seen the strip with the LSA blower, and the drag radials.
