nice job.. jody :D

nice build. I think the coils will be fine as long as they do have the dielectric grease on them and you don't go through the automatic car wash and get the undercarriage cleaned. But I can't describe the distaste I'd have if I ever saw a car like that in an automatic car wash.

Looking great Jody! You're really throwing all you've learned over the years at this build and we love it!! The end is near!! Turn that key!! :woot:

I did, and nada, nothing, ..................... No rpm signal, so it's not gonna fire. Everything appears to be working except that. Got an e-mail in to John Meaney, but got a feeling it could be a box or harness issue. I did swap the pins on the crank sensor as per my other thread, just for the hell of it.............. nothing, no rpm showing when it's cranking. Jody |
not sure it helps here.. but i had a simmilar issue on an electromotive injected car i did a few years back and the problem ended up being an ECU undervoltage issue when cranking.. so try and do a test with an additional batt close to the starter
we solved it with a small lead batt next to the ecu and a diode to prevent it supplying current back into the main circuit.. but still accept the charge when the alt was at 13.5V just 2 cents that might come in handy |

One of the obvious things that it shouldn't be but has happened to a few.
Do you have the right box for the engine? You know they changed the crankwheel to 58 tooth on the LS2. If you have the old box that is set up for 24 tooth you can get the problem you have. Jan |
