This is going to be gorgeous. Awesome work.

Awesome looking work, Cris! I'm glad Tracy could head up to your shop to help you fit parts today. It's always great to work with you and you make our parts look so good when you surround them with so many cool details and great bodywork. Now....it's just a matter of a certain '73 Camaro, ha, ha!!!
|
Just look @ it this way Matt.. All the cool details that we are doing for this 68.. Some will be carried into your 73.. Some of those machined pcs have already been fitted to your car..
Thanks again Matt! Quote:

Amazing build!
"attention defecate disorder" -Tonner.... haha, I believe you meant deficit. That is one hilarious typo though. Cris, is the water jet cutting done in house? Have you worked on any Cuda's? Want to? David |
Looks good Cris! Is that the 100% CF version of the hood that has the understructure in carbon fiber as well?
|
Grill looks great.
Are you putting turn signals in the headlights? What headlights do you plan on using? |
Thank you! The signal lights will be in the headlights... Don't know yet which ones we are using.. but I know they are out their..

I have two sources that I use for water jet cutting.. My uncle retired last year & we are looking @ buying a CNC plasma to make some parts in house.. critical parts will still go out water jet.. Quote:

seen this car in person yesterday.... really dig all the machined billet pieces, the attention to detail as i watched chris and his guys gap the hood, cowl, and nose along with the mods required to ensure they all line up after being gaped....

The Cuda that Cris is referring to is mine!! We've been emailing back and forth the last couple of days and if it all works out I'm taking the car down there in mid-Oct
I was extremely happy with all the work Tim Bruning did on my car but he's just got too much on his plate with working at SAR, side projects, his own projects and family. Getting my car back into his shop and having it make reasonable progress just wasn't going to happen. No hard feelings on my part or his.... Just wasn't going to happen One of the reasons I wanted to work with Cris is his ability and desire to design and prototype new parts.... The mopar market is small so we don't have a ton of companies coming out with new stuff. It would be awesome to get some new stuff.... Billet hood hinges spring to mind So let's send him some more mopars!!!! |
