Ron,

Have you cycled your suspension through at full lock and compressed?? Looks like you have a good bow in the fender to clear. The Nova really needed some clearance on the front fenders to avoid grabbing some fiberglass. Had to cut them and pooch them out a bit just to fit the 275's up there. Your car is looking great, we need to get our butts in gear if we plan on running these junks this year LOL

Got the ends of the bumper made, and now that I corrected the things I didn't like about the AMC version, I really don't hate the thing now. I always hated the way AMC shrouded the bottom of the headlight with the bumper, and how it sloped back the way it did at the bottom. And of course like all things AMC the fit was horrible. I'm still not sure I'm not going to do something different at the bottom of the bumper, I'll look at it a while before I decide. It is at least getting closer.

You can see the height difference in the one pic

Nova is looking great Jeff. My fenders clear under full compression, but rub in full lock, I'm thinking I may need to move the fender lip to the outside instead of the inside. And yes we need to get on the stick.

Tim, I think his check book wishes it was an urban legend right about now. LOL
The fiberglass fenders with the budge does look awesome, with the parts in that car it should be a real beast, watch out Billy Utley.LOL

Tim,

My check book DOES wish it was a myth LOL. Any new improvements on your Camaro over the winter??

Ron, I don't think Billy is too worried about me, he does pretty good with that killer Nova of his  I'm just happy if I can still see everyone's taillights up ahead on the track LOL.

Jeff,
Now that we've hi-jacked Ron's thread for our own use :) , yes there's been some upgrades, some cosmetic (interior) and a new bullet under the hood (if I ever get my block), if I have time left I'm going to do some aero aids as well. Sorry Ron :getout:

Very, very tempting offer, but, I've decided when I go to Laguna I'm going to be driving one of my jalopies.

I like that answer but you better plan for no less than 6 mufflers on your car. Pretty soon the db limit will be in the 80's there. :disgusted:
