I'm not just saying this Mario because I don't have to. And yes, it is another 69 Camaro, but that chocolate interior (or whatever color it is) is just plain beautiful with the bronze colored accented metal to boot. I'm like wow!! Never would've thought that chocolate would pop and be so sick with a black exterior. I may have to steal that color combo.

That Bronze was a surprise to me. That's all Troy . I got a lot of crap for the black with the brown but I'm very happy with the combo.

Thanks again Marcus! We definitely wanted something different. I painted a Lexus that color a looooong time ago and it just stuck in my head!:headscratch:

Car is back at the interior shop getting pretty much the entire interior redone. I gotta say this whole project went pretty smooth up until the last few months of the final assembly . And its been a nightmare ever since . Just incredible the crap that's been happening with this car. It really makes you think WHY would anyone put themselves through this to build one of these cars! You gotta be INSANE!!!:hairpullout:

Sorry for your troubles Mario. I'm curious why the interior needs to be redone. It looked great in the pics.

Pictures can tell a ton of lies Don . The list was a mile long, way to many quality and craftsmanship issue . I wasn't standing for anything less than perfection for what that interior cost me.

That's for sure Frank ! The BS and the drama came in the last 6 months of the build and it never let up . I never thought it would get to a point where I would have to get lawyers involved but that's where I'm at now they left me no choice . I have two suits going, both are just about resolved as we speak. Thank god my lawyer is my neighbor, and I take care of his and his wife's firms I have a very nice retainer:D . . It really takes a lot of the fun out of the build when this crap happens . And let me say Troy has nothing to do with any of this BS. We had our little talk a wile back and cleared everything up, him and I are all good. So I have one more week before I get my car back from the upholstery disaster . Then back to Troy for some small tweaks . Then home so I can finally drive this friggin thing I'm going crazy !!!:drama: :drama: :drama: :drama:

Been there and done that Mario...... The Frisbee '32. A simple car that should have been fun - turned into a crap show because of the DETAILS.... the simplest things, such as, brake lights working...

The Brizio build.... 180* difference.

The Pinkee's build - 100% nothing but love for them

I've personally seen some "work" done by what people THINK are the very best of the best.... and sometimes THEY SUCK! And then their ego's get in the way when you call them out on the SUCKY work they did.... F your ego you dipwad!! -- look at the crappy work you did!!! PERIOD!!! If they'd own it and just do it over and do it right now and do it RIGHT. Then all is good.....

A reputation isn't crap - unless you live up to it every friggin' day.

That's about it Greg! Never never imagine this happening . You are 100% correct about the egos that's for sure. There isn't enough time to explain what went down with this joker . This guy has done some pretty hi profile interiors but he chose my car to totally F^CK UP!! But at the end of the day he had nothing!!

You've decided not to out the shops that you had trouble with? Understandable if you're in the middle of a legal negotiation.
Would be helpful for others though, after its all said and done, to update the thread with specific problems you had with what shops and how you got them resolved.

All progress updates are done through Troy. I can't have any interaction with him. I didn't want to give the car back to him to correct the issues I just wanted my money back . But all the legal BS says I have to let him correct his mistakes before I could go down that road. The other situation is a product that I bought that had many issues. That one has been resolved and I am getting my money back. I'm fortunate my lawyer is our best friends and neighbor. Not everyone has that situation so it comes down to how much is it going to cost to go forward with legal action. And believe me A LOT of these criminals know this . One part of our early conversation he eluded to that very fact. Very sarcastically .... ''Do you have any idea what its going to cost you to pursue this legally'' at that point I was done talking to him. Then Troy explained my situation and it was going to cost me absolutely nothing to go forward with any legal action. Then the entire attitude change he was willing to do anything to make this right . But at that point I was done with him and that's where were at now . Also with all the legal stuff I can't put any names out there as of yet if at all . Both suits didn't have any counsel representing them so my lawyer advise me not to put any names out there. Stay tune...

Ketzer 08-23-2016 08:12 AM

I really hope you can come out of this still loving your car. Whether you built it to sell and build the next, or built it to keep, I hope you at least take a little time to run the wheels off it.
