Let's get back to the real story in SoCal, my client Yasiel Puig. I've been mentoring him since June 3rd this year. Took over for Dennis Castro. :relax: |
Ron,...the masses are growing weary. A pic, even if it's not your car. Fake it! lol
Can't wait for those updated pics! |

You kidding me? My phone's camera lens is so scratched up it takes worse pictures than Rob's. My DSLR's charger (I think) lives in D.C. and I have some other excuse for why the other little camera I have doesn't work. I think it memory card never made it home and I never have needed it since. It's also possible the Chinese half of the family just wore the camera out. You know how many pictures asians take, and if not you got really lucky. I had to pick up stuff for a couple shop projects today, but last I remember the car was really close to running. Once the variable pump controller and the stainless line to the clutch reservior goes on it should be ready to fire and be able to drive in and out of the shop. Oh and one of the headers is being modified, but then it should be ready. |
OMG!! That's hysterical Matt!
You shoulda been in Texas with us man.... |

Actually it wasn't meant to be a jab at Ron (should I admit that?). I was just enjoyin' the Kenny Rogers pre-very bad facelift part of it. The Gambler ..lost when he bet on that 'cutter'. :badidea: |

Anyway, it's not 'we are the world.' More like 'Lat-G World Domination.' Don't believe me? Look at what Hobaugh (sp?, sorry Brian!) did last weekend. We - of this site - are everywhere and coming to a track near you! |

You mean near you? As in, your backyard? |
Ok so in a blatant attempt to not have my thread turn into a BMF or 69Forino blob today, here's the update. :topic:
Matt mentioned the oiling system is just about buttoned up. The headers are modified to clear the steering shaft and installed. Upper radiator hose is on, lower is still missing, I think. Master reservoirs are (should be) plumbed and the crew made an access panel to run and mount my rear shock reservoirs in the trunk. They'll either go on the crossmember or if we have enough line length, mounted on the rollbar. Also wiring for the trunk starter relay is in process. Proof that Matt was not lying about his equipment: http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/a...psb59042d3.jpg http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps794a2d93.jpg Lots more little stuff to do, but hope to have a running vid - yet not geek out - in the next week or two (you know how that goes, lol). Good times  |
