I predict a new trend forming. Pro-racing. The bar just keeps getting raised and things just keep getting juicer.

Can't wait to see this come together.

Please share more with us Brett!

Sweet! I'm not sure about anyone else, but anytime I see the name Reher Morrison, I immediately think Pro Touring.

That is amazing HP from 11.1 bro---those sb2 heads are pretty amazing. Did you have the flow numbers?

I was told by engine builder over 400 cfm. And I don't think I've seen an SB2 head not flow 400+. Still waiting on some more specs to be faxed to me...

LOL--brutal man--LOL.

I'd still rather have an SB2 setup though--there is just something about them. I had a set for the race car---ended up selling them to fund the chassis setup. It's way outta the box---can't wait to hear this engine running and in the car.

Totally sweet setup DG. That was quite the score.

D

I am hoping to keep the boom tube but thinking I may add some short mufflers in addition to the inserts I have now. Orinda will not appreciate this noise and I want to be able to drive it around here. The avg age in my neighborhood is 68.

Yah but now I need to help out Todd a little, same buddy just finished dynoing he 69 Chevellle more of a street-touring BUT it has an all aluminum BB (Todd) and it made 636 na at the wheels :wow: On 92 gas. Now he has been building engines for years, he was part of the Fasttimes Motor Works guys back in the 90's running 10" tire cars! He is also building a Pro-touring 69 Camaro with a 500 plus inch all aluminum twin turbo made something like 1200 hp on the engine dyno!
But again his SB2 was killer! And it did beat BB's all the time

Got some updated specs:

4.170 bore x 4.00 stroke = 437 cubes

Bullet solid roller
264/274 duration @ .050
113 LSA
.390/.390 lobe lift
Net lift is .663/.663 with the 1.7 shaft rockers

Also added to my order the stainless headers that I had not realized he test fit in a 68 Camaro with a rack and pinion. That should work out I hope.
