When you're on the 'Dead Pool finally under it's own power' East Coast Victory Tour, I'll take you up on that ride invite. ;)

In the meantime, I'll be samplin' County Health Dept approved BBQ joints we can take in when you and 'The Rontourage' arrive.

Ron
glad to see it moving in the right direction.
Curious, what did you do to the headers?

Payton King 06-21-2013 06:08 AM

Wow!

I go out of town for a few days and look at all that is happening. Are you having to pinch yourself to make sure you are not dreaming?

syborg tt 06-21-2013 08:06 AM

When you open the trunk people are going to be like "What the heck is that ?"

I can't wait for this car to be running and driving.

Hi Frankie! I bought the Kooks headers unwelded. When we attached the tubes to the flange everything lined up great except the #1 and #3 cylinder tubes would not clear the steering shaft. There's three different ways to approach this - maybe more - but this is the route we took. I was a bit concerned about the effect on HP and how it would package, but it came out really nice. I was told even though I have equal length headers, the extra inch or so added to #1 (even less for #3) would not have a noticeable effect. Look forward to catching up Bro!

Hey Ron, I fly in to LA on the 10th July, only there for the day before flying to Ohio for the :goodguys: show. It would be great if I could see a drive by at the airport. So i think you really need to pull your finger out and :gitrdun:

I'm gonna miss that Greg. How about a ride down to BOS. It's only two hours each way :whenitsdone:

On a more serious note (if that's possible), I'd love to chew your ear about the AME sub and dry sump packaging. Unfortunately I'm travelling week before and during Colombus, home on the 15th. Maybe on the way back?

The car would have been done a couple years ago -- but he couldn't get Hef to get out of the sack long enough to sign the definitive agreement....

My attorney/PR agent/part-time moderator handles the trivial details and such.

Yes Sir. Nice piece but without their valve covers you gotta drill to fit. A little RTV and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
