Sorry Dave, but after seeing the car on here for so long, and seeing the floor pans look like the picture, with sooo many signatures on the quilt work. Somebody had to put a stop to it. LOL

So.... I'm confused. Where exactly are the mufflers going to be located? Under the drivers feet or behind his helmet? :G-Dub:

DBasher 10-06-2015 07:10 AM

I'm confused also, are you having the suspension redone again or is Jim more of a cage, floor, sheet metal fab guy?

Car does look good all put together.

Can you only imagine how much money I saved by spending a lousy $40 grand on the Mustang purchase...... hahahahahahahahahaha

A complete suspension upgrade only took a month or two and included buying 2 complete sets of Formula 43 wheels and 8 new Hoosiers... big brakes - spares - two tool boxes with special tools and spacers... and I'm still half of what this unfinished project cost. :poke:

You guys are confused? Not as confused as I am.

Greggers, your math is off. Probably more so on your own car  But I do hear 245's and leaf springs are expensive. :G-Dub: The biggest thing I've lost in the last couple years is progress.

But your math is perfectly sound when you talk about you and Gaetano running neck and neck. :peepwall: :D

Like sands through the hour glass.....

My wife is in support of this project 100%... for now. :peepwall:

Hey Dave any pictures of how you ran the brake lines in the subframe?

Sorry, there are none.

I had to switch to light beer to hang with Payton and Ron.

Suspension should be mostly fine. Will take a closer look at that later. But if you've seen Payton's thread you can see that Jim is a very talented fabricator. I was impressed with the pictures Payton has shown us but the work in person is just incredible. Payton's car is so sweet I literally pointed to it and said "just give me that."

Correct.........once the decoupled rear end installation is finished.

Finally, a tangible game plan!!!

Payton, just how much are you charging him for the rendering?

:welcome3:

Not going there. I like the torque arm and my exhaust needs are different from Payton's so I think it'd be hard to pull off anyway.
