Dropped her down to ride height(4.5 at the cowl!) to make sure wheel clearance is OK! Rodger wanted to see what it would look like with big rotors so he stuck his truck rotor on the back wheel!
http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...25-2007005.jpg This is how we decided to finish the diff cage! I couldn't bear to cover up the beautiful tube work so we're just going to leave her as is! Just got to finish off the corners! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...25-2007014.jpg Sub floor is all tacked in! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...25-2007016.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...25-2007017.jpg John |
John... have you and Roger thought about a throttle pedal yet ?
That looks pretty tight. We had a similar problem when I slammed the Impala. The tunnel became so wide that it limited the room for a pedal. I bent the stock assembly bracket and fab'd up an 's' shaped arm. Works but is still kinda tight. Yours looks even tighter. |
I have said you car is so cool so many times
it is like playing golf with my friend with a 0 handicap....you get tired of saying great shot. LOL
I love the big rotor look on the rear. |
Throttle Pedal
Rumor has it that John has little feet, but he has a big....... wallet.

what thickness is the sheetmetal inside the car?

Actually the gas pedal is going to be designed by a aerospece engineer. Haha
Really it is.... Last I heard the rocket scientist was working on the brake pedals also. But the gas pedal actually has lots of room since it will be a hanging pedal. I may not be able to fit my size 15 in the with room to spare. But John had foot enhancement by the doctor of the stars Dr 90210 so he has perfect feet,,,,Now. He does not need those cute driving booties, that I have. |
