Updates!!!

I just read through all 43 pages of this build, I currently serve and am a Chief in the US Navy. I'm out to sea as i type this and it took me over 3 days to be able to look through all 43pgs. The internet speed out to sea is like old school dial up so its rough on downloading all those amazing photos of your work, i currently own a 55 Chevy 2dr Hdtp and you have really given me some inspiration to start modifying my own car and something to look forward to when i get back home.

I was hoping though if someone knows why there have been very little updates on the car since Jan.? If the build got moved to a different thread or website please let me know. I wish you nothing but the best on the remainder of the build and look forward to the updates.

Wow!! Must've really been an inspiration. This is your first post in 8 years. :sarcasm_smiley::sarcasm_smiley::poke::poke:

a man of few words i guess. :BlahBlah: but really i am not normally ever on this forum i created an account a while back following a DIY trifive Chassis that ironworks was considering putting into production for the consumer, initial post about it were on the trifive website that led me to lateral-g. but to further reiterate the fabrication skills by the builder of this car does inspire me to pick up a torch and start melting the metal on my 55. :snapout:

The builder got a new job in a different state. I think he has been very busy with the move and the new job. Its hard for most everyone to keep a project on track (especially if your away from home and can only plan your project for now)... take inspiration wherever you can find it!!

Thank you for your service! :flag2:

I keep coming back to this in hopes of an update. Moving is a complete PITA and turns everything topsy turvy. Hope you get back to it soon!

Hey Mike! Thank you for your service!! Ketzer is correct I did move jobs and states, bought my first house and dog. New everything pretty much. The car is definitely still in the works. I've been slowly working on it. Actually I'm working on the door hinges currently and plan to have those CNC machined very soon so I can make more inner structure and the doors! I promise some more pictures and updates soon. Thanks again for following this dream of mine. Guys like you are where I find my inspiration.

Brycen,
Thank you for your support and congrats on the moves you have made in life. Really looking forward to the updates on the car. When i get back from being out to sea ill shoot you a few shots of my 55. A lot of work to do on it but i am able to hop in it and bang some gears. I picked up a thermal arc 211i welder a little while back and tought myself how to mig and have had the hull techs here on my ship start teaching me how to tig weld. It really is a art and you have become a master of your craft. Again thank you for the support
