I think that is only a 3 axis machine.
guys with Greg Weld money buy 5 axis machines.

Correct, it is a 3 with a sneaky fourth axis.

5 axis is great for high production tight tolerance work of the Aerospace nature, 4 axis machines are affordable and are very capable of making anything you can dream up, true it may take an extra operation or some surfacing tool paths but considering the time saved in programming, tooling, software and machine price 4 axis machines are logical and more practical then 5 axis, 80% of parts in most industries are easily produced in 3 axis machines. thats my 2 pennies worth.. I am excited to see what you guys come up with,, PM me if you ever need some programming assistance. I am sure you guys already have more then capable people on the scene..

It has been a too long since we have updated this thread. We have been pretty busy working on a wide range of projects. Here are a few updates on some unique stuff from the past 2 months.

Jimmy brought us this clean 40 Ford to update and wake it up. It will be getting new wheels, custom engine cover adn air intake, and laying down some flames on the nose.

Here is the engine cover fab work. We started with a radiator close out panel to hide all of the stuff going on under it. Radiator, condensor, overflor, hood latch, etc...

Then fabbed up a sheet metal engine cover to give the car a unique look.

Ed's Speed 33 is also getting into the assembly stages. Body and components have just come out of paint and the chassis is just about assembled. We should be mating the two together by the end of the week.

Man I just wanna go watch the guy doing the aluminum. So amazing at how perfect it is. I did some stuff like that at my old job and you could definitely see where I welded. Awesome work!
