Thanks for the explanation, Ron! It all makes a lot more sense now. I really like that design and it seems like it'll allow for the damping to be very consistent.

I've been fortunate to hook up with a great group of people on this project here.. with Payton's Camaro already paving the way for some of the things we are doing on mine, plus Jim's Nascar background and Ron's diverse racing background, I could not be happier with where things are going here.

I loved the simple adjustability of the jack bolts to manipulate ride height (if necessary) when going from track to street and back.

So how is your car coming? We need some updates from Terry... :rules:

True that. I can definitely see a benefit there.

I personally don't see much street time in the future with my car as the streets in Houston require 4WD, at least 8" of ground clearance, and lately a snorkel... I bet it could make a highway run on TX-130, though. COTA to Lake Travis? 5th is 1:1 so the gear whine shouldn't be too bad...

My car is coming along. The guys at Vorshlag have been hard at work on it the past couple of weeks and their shop seems to be getting more and more work this season. They have recently been getting into the exhaust, trans tunnel, final welding, and starting on some interior panels. I'm sure Terry will post an update soon but I'll let him do that when he's got some time. I will say, there are some exciting things coming together currently and some very generous vendors supplying some high quality kit.

The pics are looking good.

When I click on the photo links all I see is Daves cat hanging from the furniture. i had to laugh when I realized it's a maint page. Ironic how photobucket chose a pic of a cat!
