I didn't take a pic of the last one I did. Here's what I do: mill off the 4x teeth from the gear you have now. Cut a .380" slice off some 4" .375" wall tubing. Weld the slice in the right spot with four rosettes. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out dry. Takes me a couple hours...

As far as the balancing goes, we spun a 1x and a 4x gear, they are both off. I don't think the weight of one tooth would make much difference compared to the harmonics of valvetrain. cake ftw! |
