GRon, the fender fabrication looks great. Progressing nicely.

Yeah that's some real metal shaping there, taking a somewhat bulbous design and making it even more bulbous. Good work.

Just past where the firewall will be I put a Y in the down bars, sending one side to the A pillar bar, and the other to the dash bar, and trans tunnel bar. I also tied a bunch of gussets to the UCA mounts, I'll probably go back and drill some holes in the gussets later to make them more pleasing to the eye. Really didn't want to but ended up mounting the hood hinges to the down bars also.

That made laugh out loud Preston, bulbous is a good word for it. It needs more cowbell.

Thought this car would be way narrower then my Mustang, but I'm wanting a full 5" of travel at lock with no rubbing, its stupid wide.:waveflag:

Got fender bottom roughed in after I got off work. Payton called me today, and was saying he thought the fenders were ending up looking like a C3 Corvette. I now see it.

Looks killer Ron.

If you keep working on it, maybe you can get it to look like a C2 then you won't have to buy one of those too :action-smiley-027:

Thanks for making feel stupid and have to Google someone, ya Jerk. LOL

In the future, if your going to reference someone it needs to be someone at my maturity level. Like Fred Flintstone, or Sponge Bob Squarepants.

Colin chapman was known to weld lightening holes together to make a car. Always subtracted weight.... To the point where his stuff was becoming dangerous.
