Thx brother Dale! No stranger to the go pedal, but will surely heed your words. Not down for any funny business until the car and driver (matched set) are ready

Barely Ron, been too busy with a couple of moves. Drove the car maybe 3-4 times for a few minutes each time.

This thread made me join this forum. I've been coming and looking at this for the past 6 months or so. Man, am I glad I didn't see it when you started this project and join then....I would have been posting for updates and keeping you generally annoyed.

Ron, your car is turning out beautiful and is probably my favorite color for these cars. I'll be starting my own project some day and your car is the only one I've seen that I'd just buy (if I could afford it :drowninga: ) and not really have to change anything.

Great Job! I just wish I was closer so I'd have an opportunity to see it in person.

If you do make it up this way some time, PM me! I'd love to see your car in person. Make sure you have a towel to wipe off inadvertent drool spills though.

I haven't been to Cal in a few years and usually only make it to different areas for work. Unfortunately, I'm far more likely to be sent to China or Taiwan than anywhere in the U.S.....they......Well, I was about to say that they don't have any cool cars there but I remembered that when I was in Taiwan last month I was almost hit by a convoy of 6 Maseratis while trying to dogde the 500 scooters buzzing about.

More like the 50s and 60s .........

Thank Ford for that 4150 and the Dominator.:mock:

The 1950’s saw the introduction of the Holley Model 4150™ 4-barrel on the 1957 T-bird. It was the beginning of the modular Holley 4-barrel as we know it today. It was the first true performance carburetor and became standard equipment on many high performance automobiles. The 1960’s were huge for the hot rod industry, and Holley, as the Model 4150™ became original equipment on the baddest factory muscle cars ever to come out of Detroit. It powered cars like the popular Z28 Camaros, Big Block Chevelles, Boss Mustangs and Shelby Cobras to name a few. This era also saw the introduction of the awesome Holley three deuce multi carb set-ups on 427 (Tri Power) Corvettes and 440 (Six Pack) Mopars. If it was a serious car it had to have a Holley. An American icon was also born in the ‘60s as the Holley Double Pumper® rolled off the line. The world famous Holley Dominator® also made its debut in 1968, developed specifically for NASCAR® racing.

68 NASCAR, yep you bet correct, it was a Ford FE TP that the Dominator sat on top of. Your welcome

That's funny ... and true. Who of us older guys would have thought we would be tuning our cars with iPads when we got into cars in 60's-70's-80's ?

No need Ron. I should be thanking you! :trophy-1302:
You are a great resource and badly needed here. I think mostly we're all pretty good at building our visions but really need the skills you have to get what we can from our set ups.

I cannot wait to finish what I'm doing and start tuning with you!
