Prepared Class cars can run slicks, right? It looks like you are running R-Compound Hoosier radials, are they as fast as slicks? IMHO I think the R-Compound radials drive better than bias slicks, is that a factor?

The tires are open to slicks or DOT R compound tires. In Nor Cal, we have some of the fastest CP cars in the country and one is on Hoosier DOT A6's. He and his son are right there with Mike Maier, the National Champ. I am going to try the Hoosiers along with Goodyears new DOT radial this summer. They each require a slightly different set up and driving style.

I dropped off the Camaro at Maier Racing today. Mike is going to finalize the suspension before the front clip and doors are installed. Here is a walk around video of the car after it left the home garage for the first time since it runs.
