Any Day Now!

If that's all they are having to complete on the car, he should be driving shortly.

Wouldn't it be nice to see the car drive to the next show in Pleasanton. I believe their is another show this month?

I figure two days max on the exhaust and how long does it take to epoxy two throttle bodies to the intake ports?

The end has to be near. Besides didn't they tell you two weeks after the last show?

How in the world did they drop their lift down on your car? Man, just when you think you've heard everything. Sorry to hear bro---keep pushing forward---we will all be at Pleasanton in June having a great time---it will all be worth it.

Yeah how crazy is that?

At the Pleasanton show I was sitting on the couch in the WCAC booth and this group of 5 20-30 year olds all homied out come walking in and one of them says. "hey isnt that the car we dropped the lift on" and they all start laughing. I just sit there and listen and watch, as one of them leans up against my car, I say, "really, do you mind not leaning on my car"? The kid is all apologetic then they strut away still laughing.

They were a piece of work. I was hoping to hear more about how it happened but they didnt get into it.

Dont worry John, the end is near.

Absolute Customs is a shady shop. One of my coworkers husbands use to work there until he quit after not being paid for 3 moths. Then they stole some of his tools.

^ that's f'd up. Lucky they didn't get a little 'talking' to...

Yeah and they tried to hide it by fixing it but they did a really crappy job so we noticed it.

There is a Goodguys show Nov 9 in Pleasanton. I should be there running and driving.

Man that is just ridiculous.

Yeah.....I was the one who found the roof damage when I tried to install the upper windshield trim. No way of hiding how far away the roof was away from the molding. That damage could only be fixed properly by removing the headliner....a uni-spotter couldn't move the metal on the edge.

As for the guys laughing...we'll yes it is poor taste to laugh about that but it's not their place to step up and say anything. It all falls on the Owners Shoulders to step forward and own up to the damage.

Hmmm, not being paid for 3 mo.... sounds like a common theme in the Automotive industry in that area.

I can't wait to see your car in November. I'll go on Sunday so I can see it driving. I never realized just how many cars don't actually move under their own power at these shows ....such a shame.
