Will the chevelle hinges fit other a-body cars of those years? How about a '69 GTO?

According to the Chevrolet Parts Interchange Manual:

The 1965-67 Chevelle hinges are the same and are interchangable with 1965-67 Impalas, 1967-69 F-body's and 1966/67 Chevy II's.

We have a '65 and a '70 Chevelle right now I'd be interested in a few sets for.

those hinges wont fit my chevelle 64 model nor do they fit the 72 that is in the shop.....not saying they couldnt work but they dont bolt up.

I tought your car was a 65' for some reason, is there really that much difference between the two as far as the hinges?

Re-read my post... i never mentioned '64 or '72 anywhere in the post.

..thats true but i doubt they will fit 65 either there is not that much difference in the FE. I have a 66 I could check as well.

I think am going to bite it and buy a set for our '65.
I'll see exactly what needs to be modified.... good thing i have access to a CNC.
Worst case, I'll save them for another up coming project.
