Frank and Lisa, I have been out of town and just got to read this, this is so sad but I'm sure she will pull threw...as Lisa said, Chia's been a fighter from the start!

You are all in our prayers!! Please keep us updated!

Oh, and you are right, we are one big family here!!

She's home! Oh man do we feel better! Went to visit this morning, Chia all but jumped out of the cage when she saw us. As they brought her off the pain meds and she became more awake and sore, she was getting cranking and not letting anyone but us touch her. She won't eat, but everyone thinks she may be more comfortable with us at home and away from all the trama at the Emergency Vet. Maybe she will eat later. Vet says it is OK if she does not feel like eating today. If she does not eat by tomorrow mornings Vet visit, then we have a problem.

She is a unbelievable little trooper. I cannot imagine being as cut up and stitched up as she is and not complain more then she is.

Gizmo is going a little crazy with joy trying to get to her. He is just crying because he cannot get to her in the baby play pen we got her in. He is ready to play! Poor thing, you can just tell Gizmo thought she was gone forever!

Keep us posted on her progress.

Try different things.. when Athena wouldn't eat I found she liked to be hand fed Costco chicken.. warm. And green dog biscuts.. not brown or others.. just green.

And when we want to try and force our dogs to eat a finger of peanut butter to the roof of the mouth works.. they are sorta forced to eat it. lol

Sometimes that "jump starts" thier appatite.

Glad to see she's home, it's the best place to be for sure.
