Thanks. I'm just glad it's finally starting to look like a car again. It was touch and go there for awhile :woot:

Update:
Making a little progress. I decided to cut away the inner edge of the outer wheel houses so that I could cut and tuck the rear quarters in a bit (I did that before I set the quarters on). I'm hoping to stuff some 285's back there.

I started by laying down some thin masking tape to mark a straight line.

Then I cut straight lines with my airsaw every inch or so.

I was able to bend each section by hand and follow up with just a little hammering to get the edge to sit flat.

I then spot welded.

Cleaned up with some sanding discs and sprayed a light coat of Zero Rust.

A little further: Thinking I could fit a 33X12.50X15 tire there

Just kidding

Here's the 67 Camaro section I spliced into my tail panel; Thanks again to ItDoRun for the panel section and Scherp69 for the idea :) I think I inhaled some paint fumes that day because I kind of messed up the cut. Oh well, it's a learning process, right?

I did add more weld to fill the gaps after this shot, just can't find the picture.

I also started cleaning up the underside and prepping for epoxy primer, then Raptor liner. Pics on that soon.

Looks good. What type of gas cap are you going to be running?

Some updates. I finished cleaning up the underside. I used Dupont epoxy primer and followed up with Raptor truck bed liner. I also got the sub-frame apart, cleaned up, and all seams welded solid. It's at the powdercoaters right now, I should be getting it back today. Here are the pics.....
